Vaccinate pregnant women w/ IIV;^17,18,19 do not delay vaccination w/ a specific preparation if an appropriate one is already available.

¹⁷ Offer vaccine prior to onset of influenza circulation in community, or soon after vaccine is available (by October, if possible), and continue to offer it as long as influenza viruses are circulating. <br><br>¹⁸ IIV contraindications: Severe allergic rxn to any vaccine component (incl. egg) or after previous dose of any influenza vaccine.
