ART should be initiated in all infants and children w/ HIV infxn [AI*], accompanied by adherence discussion and subsequent adherence support. Rapid ART initiation (immediately or w/in days of dx) recommended, except in pts w/ cryptococcal meningitis, disseminated MAC, or tuberculous meningitis.
